The third Saturday September hike meets on September 16th at 10:00 a.m. Explore one of the latest additions to Chautauqua rails to trails – the Carroll area Nature Trail, which follows a 2-mile section of the old Dunkirk, Allegheny Valley and Pittsburgh railroad. Glimpses of the nearby trolley line and the Conewango creek are some of the highlights of this walk. We will start at Frewsburg, walk south to River road and return to Frewsburg for a total of 4 miles. 

To reach the trailhead parking lot, find Lobb’s Auto Service Center, 129 West main Street in Frewsburg. Go right through Lobb’s parking lot to get to the trailhead.
