Please join us for our 3rd Saturday Hike on July 15th at 9:30am.

Our July hike will be on the Overland Trail from the corner of Titus & Mt Pleasant roads to Brumagin road. 

The section was hiked a few weeks ago and other than a couple logs that needed to be stepped over it seemed to be in good shape. It’s about 1 1/2 miles each way and there is a campsite with lean-to ‘s that would serve as a nice rest stop or turn around point. Also there is a large parking lot at Mt Pleasant Rd.

Directions:

From Mayville take Morris street (one block from 394 along the lake), go about 4 miles and bear right (it’s really straight) at First Farms. Then it’s about 3 miles to Titus Rd. Just before Titus Road there is a large parking lot on the right. The trail is marked from there.

From the Sherman direction you would turn right from 430 onto Titus Rd, go to the end of the road, and turn left on Mt Pleasant. The parking lot is right there.

Insect repellant is advisable for the part of the trail between the two wooded areas, for deer flies.
